
I wasn’t prepared to enjoy Chicken Little as much as I did when I saw it in theaters. The original take on the “sky is falling” story was enjoyable and tugged on the heartstrings. It could have been a few minutes longer to include a few more jokes, but overall a solid film.

Playing Chicken Little will get you exactly what you deserve – a platform style game based on a movie. The film itself was decent, as is the game. There are no real surprises here, as the game is catered to the target audience of the film – kids looking to extend the movie experience.

Movie based videogames are usually pretty poor – quick jobs done simply to cash in on the license. Often the developer can’t be faulted for having been given limited time and resources to get the job done. Usually, the Game Boy Advance games fare better than their “big console” cousins as less is required to get the game out the door.
Disney’s Chicken Little is one of those games.
