Waterworld (Blu-ray)
Turns out it’s just as bad in high definition

Do not buy this Blu-ray release of Waterworld. I say this not because the film is bad (which it is) but this includes less content that the previous DVD release last year.
We get the same lousy film with the same plot holes in the “shorter” theatrical version, without the added value or benefit (such as there is) of the extended version being available, despite the technology for seamless branching.
Add to this the fact that there are still no special features, and you get a high definition release of a film that isn’t worth anything.
Oh, and if this review feels too short, maybe if Universal would put more effort into their releases, I’d put more effort into the reviews.
