RPG Risen has finished development for the PC and is set for an October 2 release. An Xbox 360 version is scheduled to arrive early next year.
This epic role playing game is set in a medieval world on a volcanic Mediterranean island, The “Risen” story unfolds over four chapters and will offer multiple ways to develop the story by his own actions and decisions. An innovative and intuitive user control interface will support both casual and hardcore gamers. With full world streaming support, the player will have a seamless experience while playing in a fully simulated game world with authentic characters.

Iggy Pop is announced to appear in LEGO Rock Band. I’m not sure how I feel about that.
Fans can play as Iggy Pop while singing his song “The Passenger,” which will be included in the play list. In addition, Rock Band pupils the world over can learn how to play the game as the iconic star’s voice walks players through the tutorial.

World of Zellians: Kingdom Builder has launched and is now available.
In World of Zellians: Kingdom Builder™, players are tasked with helping seven rulers develop their lands into prosperous and productive kingdoms. Players will build roads, orchards, fisheries, farms, shops and more, as they improve the lives of villagers and solve the mystery behind the Zellian rulers’ ailing societies. As players level up, they will earn trophies and travel through seven kingdoms – Prairie, Forest, Ruins, Mountains, Tundra, Volcano, Desert, and Coast – featuring new challenges and areas in the world to explore.

Pearl Jam’s upcoming Backspacer album is set to become available through Rock Band.
The band’s ninth and latest studio album, Backspacer, will be released in stores Sept. 20 and will be added to the Rock Band Music Store for Xbox 360 on Sept. 20, for Wii on Sept. 22 and for PlayStation 3 on Sept 24. Pearl Jam is touring in promotion of the new album from August through October in the United States and Europe.
In addition, Pearl Jam will offer a special edition CD set at Target stores nationwide that will include the Backspacer album disc and a code that enables owners of the special edition to download the entire album for Rock Band or Rock Band 2 gameplay for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system. The tracks will be imported into participating fans’ Rock Band libraries and be accessible to all game modes, including solo, band play, online multiplayer and instrument vs. instrument.
