Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 Commander’s Challenge is now available on Xbox Live Arcade and will be available next week for the PlayStation Network.

 

As players progress through the gauntlet, they will gradually unlock more units, technology and new challenges. Each challenge is equipped with a par time that will challenge even the most competitive and skilled Command & Conquer fans. Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 Commander’s Challenge will also feature the high-quality live-action cinematics the franchise is known for, including 16-time world heavyweight wrestling champion – “Nature Boy” Ric Flair and others.

Spore Creature Creator 2-D features the full suite of more than 250 body parts, including limbs, eyes, feet, heads, and fun accessories like antlers and wings. Once players create their ultimate creature, they can play with them in the Spore Creature Trainer mini-game. Today Bethesda and Microsoft revealed that a premium theme for “Fallout 3” will be released on Xbox LIVE on Oct.1 free of charge for all players who have purchased all five “Fallout 3” Game Add-ons as of Sept. 22. Gamers who have purchased all five Game Add-ons (English only), including “Operation: Anchorage,” “The Pitt,” “Broken Steel,” “Point Lookout” and “Mothership Zeta”, will receive a token from Microsoft to download the theme for free starting Oct. 1.The theme is also available for purchase at 240 Microsoft points.

Zombie Apocalypse will be available on September 23 on Xbox LIVE® Arcade for 800 Microsoft Points and September 24 on PlayStation®Network for $9.99.

 

Equipped with ample artillery, players’ dual analog stick shooting skills will be put to the test in the thrilling arcade style shooter. As gamers set forth on their mission to conquer zombies, they can choose from up to 11 diverse weapons including assault rifles, flamethrowers and teddy bears filled with C4 explosives. A chainsaw is also available to players who want an up close and personal encounter with the roaming dead. Savvy players can also take advantage of their surroundings as they utilize environmental hazards to destroy massive hordes of zombies.

Players navigate through seven environments and fight their way through 55 days of zombie attacks without becoming a brainless zombie. Should they succeed, they will be rewarded with seven challenging game modes that will enable them to re-live the apocalypse all over again. As an added bonus, gamers do not have to face the evil masses alone as multiplayer capabilities allow up to four shooters to take on the zombie confrontation locally or co-operatively online.

Pre-ordering Brutal Legend at GameStop will get players access to the game’s demo on Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network. A “general release” demo will be available later.

 

The Brütal Legend demo includes the game’s entire opening chapter, setting the stage for legendary roadie Eddie Riggs epic journey into a Heavy Metal-inspired universe on the brink of decimation. After a stage accident renders Eddie unconscious, he awakens to find himself in a fantasy world where mountains are made of amplifiers, killer spiders spin guitar strings and heavy metal legends including Rob Halford, Lemmy Kilmister, Lita Ford and Ozzy Osbourne roam the world’s picturesque landscapes.
