New events in MapleStory are kicking off this week. Monster Carnival 2 brings back a group hunt to the game, an the Mu Lung Dojo Challenge could earn player a set of 5 belts and 32 medals by taking on top fighters. Other events include:
* Alphabet Gathering: Defeat monsters and collect the letters they drop to spell words which bring great rewards
* Cassandra’s Special Alphabet Gift: Reporting to this NPC upon login will earn players letters. In some cases, very rare letters.
* The Great MapleStory book drive: Help a student retrieve her books from monsters who tore them from her and receive letters or other valuable items.
* Back-to-School Sale: There is a 30 percent off sale on necessary school items such as notebooks, pencils and prep-school uniforms.

Soul of the Ultimate Nation has entered its first closed beta test
In Soul of the Ultimate Nation’s first beta period, players’ experiences will vary as they choose from multiple classes, including Berkserkers, Dragon Knights, Valkyries and Elementalists. In addition, 100 randomly selected players will receive an exclusive in-game item for use in OBT and beyond: a Siberian Husky pet.
