Namco Bandai today announced that Namco Museum Essentials for the PlayStation Network is now available for $9.99. Included are the classics Pac-Man, Galaga, Dig Dug, Dragon Spirit and Xevious as well as a new “remix” of Xevious. Also, a Namco Bandai section for PlayStation Home has launched today.

Development on Madden NFL 10 has been complete and the game is scheduled to become available on August 14. A demo for the game is set to become available via the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Marketplace on July 30.

Online title Maple Story has new pets available for players to use.
The pets, called Kino Pets, require care and feeding in order to thrive and help players out. Players need to interact with their Kino Pet and the pet will interact with the player in response. The more interaction that takes place the happier and healthier the pet will be.
The Kino pets are also make playing more efficient players because they pick up Mesos (the in-game currency) and items so the player can continue on with their adventures without having to take time to collect the valuables himself. Additionally, once a player purchase health potion, the Kino pet will monitor the players health and administer the health potion automatically to keep the player fit for fighting.

Also added to the roster of free to play games are Psychonauts, Earthworm Jim, Jagged Alliance 2 Gold, King of Monsters 2, and Cuban Missile Crisis. The twist is that these last five games will be free to play for the next three months.
