A game based on the upcoming animated film Despicable Me is coming. Raise your hand if you’re surprised. We’re not.
In Despicable Me: The Game, players will experience the inventiveness of being a despicable genius as they become Gru, the film’s criminal mastermind, planning heists and plotting attacks on Gru’s archnemesis, Vector, as they work their way to villainous greatness. Despicable Me: The Game offers a unique blend of action and puzzle solving that combines the fun of commanding an army of loyal-but-manic minions and using an arsenal of wacky gadgets, weapons and vehicles to entertain players of all ages.

A new deal gives THQ the rights to publish games based on “Wheel of Fortune” and “Jeopardy” – look for new games on the Wii and DS/DSi later this year.

Band members from As I Lay Dying will be on Xbox Live to play fans in MX vs. ATV: Reflex. Look for the gamertag AILDband from 5pm to 7pm Pacific Time on Thursday, February 4.
