The PlayStation 3 to get an exclusive “Divine Edition” of Dante’s Inferno. For the regular edition price ($59.99) this edition will include developer commentaries, a Wayne Barlowe digital art book, the soundtrack to the game and a digital version of the complete Longfellow translation of the original literary work.

Comical action title Naughty Bear is coming to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 sometime next year.

 

As Naughty Bear, players will wreak havoc on every stuffing-filled foe that crosses their path. Featuring an array of weapons, objects and scare tactics, gamers strive to earn Naughty Points as they inflict physical and psychological harm on Naughty Bear’s enemies. This all-new scare-based points system means players will win the most rewards for being deviant and maniacal. The variety allows for a completely new experience every time players pick up a controller and the ill-fated bears become more difficult to harass and terrorize as the game progresses. Naughty Bear features more than 30 levels to unlock, with unique characteristics and weaponry encountered at every stage. Gamers can search the game world and collect all the hidden party items locked away by the other bears.

War in the Pacific: Admiral’s Edition is updated to version 1.00.95 which includes “…over 200 changes, fixes and improvements to the original release.”

 

Interface improvements abound, including the visual display of search arcs and usability improvements on many of the game screens. These are documented in a separate “Interface Addendum” included with this update. Also overhauled is the Pilot Training system, which gets its own “Pilot Management Addendum” as well. In addition, performance continues to be improved, gameplay continues to be tweaked in all areas to perfect the historical game balance and results and bugs of course continue to be fixed as they are found. Most of these improvements and fixes can be applied to existing games in progress simply by loading the saved game and continuing play. The full set of changes is documented in detail in the included update readme file.
