This October, one of PlayStation’s most beloved duos is ushering in the holiday season with a bang as they star in their biggest adventure yet. Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time brings players back to the franchise they love in an experience that can best be described as playing through a CG-animated movie. In Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time, Clank has been captured by Dr. Nefarious, and it’s up to Ratchet to save his best friend. Along the way, Ratchet and Clank will attempt to reunite in an effort to save the universe, while uncovering the hidden truth behind their origins and discovering their ultimate destinies.
Key features include:
- Tying up loose ends – featuring a charming tale of friendship and destinies, Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time features an original new adventure and story that answers many of the fans’ most-asked questions wrapping up the story arc that started in Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction and Ratchet & Clank® Future: Quest For Booty.
- The universe is yours – players can roam freely through non-linear levels with new space gameplay that allows players to engage in space battles, explore the surrounding star system, and discover hidden items and collectables.
- A dynamic duo – players can take on the roles of both Ratchet and Clank, with completely new gameplay experiences for each character.
- Time on your side – new Clank gameplay features and items like The Chronoscepter and Time Pads allow players to utilize special time-manipulation abilities that bring meaning to “past selves.”
- Creative weaponry – the tradition of comical, imaginative arsenals continues with new weapons like Cryo-Bomb Glove, Plasma Striker and Sonic Eruptor, along with classics such as the Negotiator and Buzz Blades. Players are also mod their own Constructo weapons, like the Constructo Pistol, with parts found across the universe. For example, through modding players can create 36 different variations of the Constructo Pistol, making 36 unique weapons!
- New moves – players can use Ratchet’s new Hoverboots to travel at high speeds, soar to new heights and jump off ramps to get to distant locations in search of Zoni and other rare collectables.
With an original adventure wrapped around a heartfelt storyline and the franchise’s signature humor, Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time is sure to delight fans of all ages.
