FROM THE PRESS RELEASE
Global interactive entertainment company Codemasters announced today the availability of the first multiplayer demo for Perimeter, its epic science fiction real-time strategy game. Exclusively for PC/DVD-ROM, Perimeter will see a United States release in June.
The multiplayer demo includes a tutorial and two maps for four-player tactical battles over LAN or online play. With Perimeter’s innovative game play tactics, including strategic terraforming, nanomorph technology and use of a force shield, the race to escape from Earth’s decomposition and find a new home planet is brought to new levels of competition in a multiplayer environment.
The game, created by Russian companies 1C Company and KD-LAB, was awarded “Best PC Game” and “Best Game Design” at the Russian Game Developers Conference earlier this year. Perimeter has also received PC Gamer UK’s Game of the Month award and PC Zone UK’s Essential Award.
