Nexon America Inc., the U.S. division of Asia’s leading online entertainment company Nexon Group, plans to hold a Black Friday sale for its most popular MapleStory items, giving its over four million users a chance to buy Cash Shop Items at a huge discount. MapleStory’s Black Friday sale will last throughout the week beginning on Friday, November 23rd and ending on Sunday, November 25th.
Black Friday, generally regarded as the biggest shopping day of the year, has become commonly associated with the Thanksgiving holiday. “Predominantly targeted towards working professionals, teens and tweens have been largely excluded from the shopping craze, save from being dragged to the mall. Holding a Black Friday sale in MapleStory gives both younger and older Nexon fans an opportunity to join in on the fun of shopping and huge sales”, said Min Kim, director of operations at Nexon America.
Adding to the excitement generated by MapleStory’s Black Friday sale are special sale hours that will provide one immensely popular item for exactly one hour during normal sale hours. The restricted sale items are to include best-sellers that usually fetch a high price at once-a-year discounts. Needless to say, Black Friday is highly anticipated by both Nexon America and its users.
