FROM THE PRESS RELEASE

The official demo for Wanted: Weapons of Fate, the third-person action videogame based on Universal Pictures’ action-thriller Wanted, starring James McAvoy, Morgan Freeman and Angelina Jolie, is now available for Games for Windows.

Published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment in partnership with Universal Digital Platforms Group and developed by GRIN, Wanted: Weapons of Fate is an intense, action-thriller that takes combat to a new level with iconic techniques and moves drawn directly from the film — such as “Curving Bullets” and “Assassin Time” — as well as an innovative, multi-layered cover mechanic.  Picking up the action where the film left off, players continue the story of hero Wesley Gibson to create an entirely new chapter of the Wanted mythology in which they will explore both Wesley’s journey to becoming an unmatched überassassin and the epic fiction of “The Fraternity.”

The Wanted: Weapons of Fate demo features:

·         All the tutorial levels in the game

·         Stages 1 and 2 of the critically acclaimed Airplane level

Featuring iconic film moves such as Bullet Curving, Bullet Explosions and Assassin Time, as well as ground-breaking Advanced Cover Gameplay, Wanted: Weapons of Fate promises to be one of the most innovative, explosive games of the year! Wanted: Weapons of Fate is now available on the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PLAYSTATION®3 Computer Entertainment System and Games for Windows.  For more information on the video game and the film, please visit www.wantedvideogame.com
