We didn’t believe it at first either. We thought when we first heard about Donkey Konga’s bongo style controller that it was a mistranslation. When we heard that it would respond to the sound of clapping AND hitting the bongos, we though that there was something wrong with our eyes.

We first brought you word of Donkey Konga at the beginning of the month. A couple of days later, we were one of the first webistes to have screens of the game, as well as a shot of the controller. Now, we have this.
Did somebody from SEGA start working for Nintendo? How does something like this get approved? Don’t get us wrong, we love the idea. We’re just baffled as to how such a niche product that required a very specific peripheral got the go-ahead. If somebody from Nintendo could contact us with the answer, we would appreciate it.
And no, there isn’t any word yet on if this is going to hit North America.
