2K announced today that Tom Symonds, an artist from Firaxis Games, the company’s world-renowned development studio, with the help of some friends created an award-winning train-shaped aircraft inspired by Sid Meier’s Railroads! for Red Bull’s annual Flugtag Event in Baltimore (www.redbullflugtagusa.com/Baltimore/default.aspx). The aircraft won the People’s Choice award, so visit www.sidmeiersrailroads.com or 2K’s ftp site to check out the seven-minute video featuring the story of how the train shaped “aircraft” was created.
