FROM THE PRESS RELEASE
Warner Bros. Online today announced that “Constantine,” a new mobile adventure game that thrusts players into a battleground between heaven and hell, will launch on wireless handset platforms in the U.S. this May. Based on the Warner Bros. Pictures film of the same name and the DC Comics/Vertigo “Hellblazer” graphic novels, “Constantine” is a mobile game title that blends elements of exploration and role-playing as mobile gamers embark on an unholy mission to uncover a demonic mastermind.
The “Constantine” mobile game features lush 3-D rendered environments, fast-paced action, an interactive supporting cast and mini-games strategically placed throughout the story to enhance the player experience. Armed with a variety of weapons and magic spells, gamers can delve into John’s sordid history as he races against time to fend off half-demons howling for his blood.
Warner Bros. Online is also launching a full suite of mobile content in conjunction with the release of “Constantine,” including wallpapers, screensavers and voicetones. More information is available on www.wbmobile.com.
The supernatural feature film thriller “Constantine” tells the story of John Constantine (Keanu Reeves), a bitter hero born with the ability to see half-breed angels and demons that walk the earth in human skin. When he teams up with skeptical police detective Angela Dodson (Rachel Weisz) to solve the mysterious suicide of her twin sister, their investigation takes them through a world of demons and angels that exists beside contemporary Los Angeles. The film also stars Shia LaBeouf, Tilda Swinton, Pruitt Taylor Vince, Djimon Hounsou, Gavin Rossdale and Peter Stormare.
