The saga of the Ewing family continues as Dallas: The Complete Twelfth Season comes to DVD on January 19, 2010 from Warner Home Video. With more deception, greed and scandal than ever, Dallas: The Complete Twelfth Seasons three disc DVD collectors set features all 26 episodes and is priced to own at $39.98 SRP.
The Emmy® nominated series stars Larry Hagman (I Dream of Jeannie), Linda Gray (Melrose Place) and Barbara Bel Geddes (Vertigo) along with Patrick Duffy (The Bold and the Beautiful), Steve Kanaly (All My Children), Howard Keel (Seven Brides for Seven Brothers), Ken Kercheval (Diagnosis Murder), Charlene Tilton (The Love Boat) and George Kennedy (Cool Hand Luke).
J.R. has always been a hound dog with the ladies and in Season 12 it all comes back to bite him. Dallas, the highly popular prime time television soap opera, ran from 1978 to 1991. It revolved around businessman J.R. Ewing and his wealthy Texas family in the oil and cattle-ranching industries. The show originally debuted in April 1978 as a five-part miniseries on the CBS network. However, the immense popularity would allow it to return for an additional 13 seasons. People the world over are still watching Dallas on cable as the series continues to find a whole new generation of viewers. Over its 14 seasons, Dallas garnered 17 Emmy® nominations and four wins, 14 Golden Globe® nominations and one win, and was the #1 or #2 rated network series for five consecutive seasons. Seasons 1 through 11 are currently available on DVD.
