Viewers will experience the deep intensity and nuances of the amazing performances in Clint Eastwoods searing ensemble drama Mystic River, starring Sean Penn, Tim Robbins and Kevin Bacon, Marcia Gay Harden, Laura Linney and Emmy Rossum when it arrives on Blu-ray February 2 from Warner Home Video. Mystic River took two Academy Awards (2003), for Sean Penn (Best Actor) and Tim Robbins (Best Supporting Actor).
With six times higher resolution than standard definition, Blu-rays extraordinarily vibrant contrast and color and beautifully crisp sound is bound to enhance Mystic Rivers visceral emotions and dark brooding backgrounds. Eastwood magnificently directed this contemporary tragedy filled with violence, tension and long-buried emotions which are never far from the surface. In Blu-ray format, all the tragic events of this amazing drama become amplified as the images jump off the screen.
Mystic River will sell $28.99 SRP each. Orders are due December 15, 2009.
