I was able to meet with Kelly Davis-Felner, Marketing Director for the WiFi Alliance, a trade association with 330 member companies. Normally most of these companies are competitors, but there are clear benefits for companies such as HP, Microsoft, Sony, Intel, Nokia, Dell, Cisco, Texas Instruments and Apple. At this year’s Consumer Electronic Show, SanDisk was showing off the 2Gig SD card for Rock Band, which is simply for brand identification. It is the only licensed memory card for the game.
